MNPI (Material Non-Public Information)
Information that could move a security's price and hasn't been made public.
Material non-public information is any information about a company or security that a reasonable investor would consider important to a trading decision and that has not been disclosed to the market. Handling MNPI improperly — including leaking it into or out of an AI model — can constitute insider trading or a breach of information-barrier obligations.
For AI systems, the risk is that a prompt carries MNPI into a model, or that a model response surfaces it to someone who shouldn't have it. Meilynx detects MNPI inline and can redact or block it before it crosses the proxy boundary, with every finding recorded in the audit trail.
