MCP (Model Context Protocol)
An open protocol that lets AI agents discover and call external tools and data sources.
The Model Context Protocol is an open standard for connecting AI applications to tools, data sources, and services. An MCP server exposes a set of tools; an agent connected to it can list them and call them with arguments the model chooses.
MCP moves the governance question from what a model says to what an agent does: which tools it can reach, what it sends them, and what comes back. Meilynx enforces tool allow and deny lists, flags drift from an approved baseline, and holds consequential actions for a second approver, at the boundary the agent's traffic crosses.
