PII (Personally Identifiable Information)

Data that can identify an individual, subject to privacy and security controls.

Personally identifiable information is any data that can identify a specific person, directly or in combination with other data. Financial-services firms are obligated to protect it under regulations including NYDFS 500 and, for health data, HIPAA.

Meilynx detects PII inline on both requests and responses, with check-digit validation, and can block or warn on it before it leaves your perimeter, or mask a response that carries it, recording each finding in the audit trail.

When a regulator changes what an AI examination asks for, hear about it first.
